Professional Background

Dr. Rhodes has over 15 years of experience in higher education. He developed the Center for Global Education in 1998, bringing it to three campuses before it landed at CSUDH in 2015. He also served in the field as a Technical Advisor in support of a primary education project in Cameroon and served as a Fulbright Senior Specialist in India and South Africa.

His areas of expertise include: Internationalization of Higher Education; Student Mobility (Study Abroad) Program Development and Administration; Integrated International Learning; Diversity and Study Abroad; and, Health, Safety, Crisis and Risk Management for Study Abroad.
