Professional Background

Dr. Norman coaches leaders from students to CEO with the goal of helping individuals to jumpstart their careers and live their best lives. With an active approach to learning that focuses on each student’s unique strengths, Dr. Norman helps leaders embrace advances in technology using a life design approach. Leaders use his DART model to optimize the talent in their organizations.

With certifications from Gallup in Strengths coaching and Stanford’s Life Design program he works with leaders in both the private and public sectors. Dr. Norman presents at top global conferences and has been invited to lecture at universities in Vietnam, Ethiopia, Albania, Cameroon, Singapore and China. He is particularly interested in working with leaders in emerging economies. His publications appear in Cardozo Journal of Conflict Resolution, Frontiers of Business Research in China, Journal of Human Resource Education, Journal of Education for Business, and International Review of Entrepreneurship.
Prior to academia, Dr. Norman held various management positions at several leading corporations, including: Procter & Gamble, Sun Microsystems, US Bancorp and Wells Fargo, Cargill.
