Professional Background
Dr. Kannothra’s research focuses on organizations and and their strategies, especially those involved in bringing about social change. His work investigates how social enterprises and hybrid organizations manage inherent social-business tensions. Recently, he received an NSF grant to investigate how minority entrepreneurs, individuals, and organizations engage in collective actions to create inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystems. He previously worked at the University of Birmingham (UK), Accenture, and the Ministry of Science and Technology (India).
