Professional Background
Dr. Ilter was born in 1958 and completed his studies in Turkey, including his Ph.D. and CPA. He worked in the industry for more than 22 years in accounting and finance for national and multinational companies.
Dr. Ilter joined academia in 2002. He and his family immigrated to Canada in 2006, where he earned his CMA/CPA designation and taught accounting at Grant MacEwan University/Edmonton. In 2013 Ilter’s family moved to the U.S., and he joined California State University (CSU) Stanislaus as an Associate Professor. He is currently a professor of accounting at CSUDH.
