Conscious of the effect that music has on humankind, Atkins is proud of the time he spent as Artistic Director of One Voice Chorus Richmond between 2013-2019, where he spearheaded an organization dedicated to healing the racial divisions of the Richmond Metropolitan Community through choral music.
